In the search box, type “keywords” and hit enter. The number of time the word “keywords” appears will give you a clue. Look for the 1st and 2nd time the word “keywords” appears. Click on them.
You want to then look for the word “meta” that appears before “keywords”. The keywords that appear AFTER “keywords” are what YouTube associates your channel with.
If you see “video, sharing, camera phone, video phone, free, upload“, it means that your channel is using the SAME keywords they give to EVERY Youtube channel by default. In other words, they have no clue what your channel is about.
If you see these keywords, it explains why your videos are not getting picked up in search results.
