VERSES AI CEM Notes April 15, 2023

The Capital Event Management Conference was held on April 15, 2023, in Scottsdale, Arizona. Each company gets to present its story to 18 individuals that represent either a hedge fund, family office, or private investors.

We were invited as an advisor to the company. Here are our notes. This is for information purposes only. This is NOT investment advice.

Nobody was talking about AI until Microsoft invested $10B into OpenAI. This was their second investment into the co ($1B in 2019). MSFT VERY RARELY invests in companies, they just have a history of acquiring them. The $10B investment into OpenAI was their LARGEST INVESTMENT ever.

Note Microsoft has had a stake in EVERY OS in the computing stack shift (DOS, Windows, iOS (investment in Apple ‘99)….AI WILL BE the OS for the next computing stack….just an FYI…KOSMOS is the ONLY OS for AI that we have found….AND  developed the protocol being standardized for AI and IoT

OpenAI did $30k in 22 and is expected to do $200M in ‘23, and $1B in ‘24..giving you an idea of how fast the AI space is growing and why SO MUCH VC money is going into AI.

Another reason..McKinsey is forecasting AI will increase GDP by 20%..which equates to about $US 13 TRILLION by 2030….some industry experts are now saying that AI could be the solution that ends the recession or makes it a very light one…with incredible GDP gains going forward….AI makes EVERY industry more efficient.

Also..Gartner (which identified adaptive artificial intelligence (VERSES KOSM uses this) as a Top Strategic Trend in 2023….and said that ANY company that doesn’t adopt AI will be 26% behind industry peers by 2030.

There is TRUE FOMO (fear of missing out) in AI…for investors and Tech companies.

3 types of AI..ANI (narrow intelligence ie ChatGPT), AGI (general which is the ULTIMATE AI solution..this is KOSM) and ASI (super intelligence..which can be invented by AGI)…it is not inconceivable that the first company that can create and offer AGI, could be the most valuable company in the world.

Spatial Web is the network containing all human knowledge on which AI will operate.

Investors have started to exercise warrants (increasing the company’s cash position)

Once ChatGPT launched, approx 10M mobile app developers started developing applications for ChatGPT…this shows the mkt oppty for KOSM SDK

Think of AI like electricity..it improved tools and accelerated almost every industry. AI is going to accelerate EVERY industry and VERSES is positioned to be the “power company” that can offer the power (AI) to any industry..and get paid every month to do so.

Google..a “librarian”..directs you to the info (books) based on your intent and the books are indexed by Dewey decimal system..Google DOES NOT give answers, just refers you to where answers are..and gets paid to make that referral

(dewey decimal system is the structure for info in a library..same structure is used for knowledge graphs…example (apple vs apple)..fruit would be in the fruit section, technology company would be in the tech section of library..what’s key is the CONTEXT to find the right part of the library

Content without context is useless…KOSM AI provides the context for the content.

ChatGPT scrapes the info from the PUBLIC web to give you answers….huge threat to Google…the PROBLEM, GPT can only reference info from 2021..Google directs to recent info

WHAT IS MISSING… a way to find info from YOUR PERSONAL data (enterprise/consumer)…that is KOSM..a “Google for your business or personal life”…DATALENS or GIA

Dr Karl Friston..more citations than Darwin and Einstein combined.

ChatGPT…is like an electric drill..yes it is better than a manual drill but it can only do one thing..KOSM is like electrifying any tool. KOSM adds AI to ANY app…there are 10m developers that are now thinking of applications for drones, cars, databases, …ANYTHING that uses a chip….MASSIVE, EXPONENTIAL opportunity

forecasting several 7 and 8 figure contracts within the next couple of quarters.

Revenue from DATALENS contracts should be SIGNIFICANTLY larger than WAYFINDER contracts.

Datalens was a way for Gabriel to “bucket” B2B functionality for interrogating data however it’s not a separate thing from KOSM (backend) / GIA (frontend). WAYFINDER is a bit of an anomaly in that it is a standalone app (powered by KOSM) but the company doesn’t plan on creating more apps.

It may be possible to uplist to a major US exchange without a reverse split.

Deloitte has been promising a solution like DATALENS (Google for your business) for 20 years

Toyota..kind of entered the EV space with Prius (hybrid) but it was Tesla that cracked the code to get 200 miles/charge…ChatGPT is Prius, KOSM is Tesla.

Investors in Toyota made 120% over several years, Tesla investors made several thousand%

Data is the most valuable commodity…AI is the most valuable way to extract value from it.

ChatGPT, Dall-E, Jasper, MidJourney…these are narrow tools.. They are a tool that got electricity..the big potential is letting people create tools with electricity for them.

Cognitive labor..AI will make these “tools”/people more productive and 40% of US workers are knowledge workers.

A SECRET known only with VCs in Silicon Valley. Every 15 years the computing stack changes..DOS, Windows, iOS…AI is the NEXT OS…but with/for ANYTHING with a chip. VCs get their 1000X returns in the first 5 years once the stack is identified..it was identified and initiated in ‘22..

VCs invest BEFORE a company is generating revenue…the “pre revenue” or minimal revenue stage offers the biggest return.

A MAJOR VC in Silicon Valley has expressed interest in creating a fund for companies building applications for the Spatial Web.

Investments closest to the infrastructure usually generate the biggest returns.

Uber billion dollar app..but Apple generates millions from having that app in their store. Ideally…own the App Store and have multibillion dollar apps in the store (WAYFINDER, DATALENS, GUARDION, GIA) + KOSM Store.

Rene and Mapes predicted 5 years ago and built the platform for the next computing stack with KOSM…investors don’t have to wait years for the trend to come, it is here now.

EVERY industry will need to build AI apps.

DATALENS is the “Holy Grail for Fortune 500 Cos”..an average Fort 500 co has 1000 different datacenters…DL can be layered on top to give a company real time analysis of its business..examples: what projects are over budget TODAY? What is the real cost of XYZ if electricity prices increase by .10, what is our most/least expensive product according to energy/shipping/shelf space?. Where are we at for the quarter compared to projections.

DATALENS..is AI that can determine the cost of a product using any variable

VERSES created an easier, 1000X cheaper way to make or add true artificial intelligence to applications….1000x cheaper and faster than current AI, and it’s adaptive AI..NOT generative AI

V has created Ai that can teach themselves..some have said this ability is the holy grail of AI

When we made machines offload physical labor, our country’s GDP exploded. This same thing is about to happen with AI

Dr Friston figured out how to replicate the brain with software
